  4.     Move it on over, Mickey. Watch your back, Dumbo. A new clan is
  5. moving into the Walt Disney menagerie: the Muppets. Last week
  6. Disney agreed to buy Henson Associates, which owns such characters
  7. as Miss Piggy, Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear. Disney did not
  8. disclose the price, but analysts put it at more than $100 million.
  9. Disney would get rights to most Muppets, which will appear in the
  10. Magic Kingdom's theme parks, movies and TV specials. (Big Bird and
  11. the other characters that Muppeteer Jim Henson created for the
  12. Sesame Street TV show remain the property of Children's Television
  13. Workshop.) Henson will become a Disney consultant. Michael Eisner,
  14. Disney's chairman, called the deal "a business association made in
  15. family-entertainment heaven."
